Held in 11 acres of grounds within the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the Chelsea Flower Show dates back to 1852.
Attended by members of the Royal Family, the event is the gardening equivalent to the Oscars. With various categories, awards and substantial television coverage, the event is often used to launch new specimens of flora.
All tickets must be purchased in advance, with the first two days open only to members of the Royal Horticultural Society.
