Sharing a place with New York, Boston, Chicago and Berlin, the London Marathon is one of the World Marathon Majors.

The 26.2 mile route from Blackheath to The Mall takes in a number of world-famous sites, such as Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf before finishing at The Mall near Buckingham Palace.
