In October 2007, the New York Giants played the Miami Dolphins in the first ever NFL regular season game to be played outside North America. An 80,000+ audience turned out to see the game at London’s Wembley Stadium which the Giants beat Miami 13-10. With the game considered a great success The NY Giants then went on to win Super Bowl XLII and so for the next 2 years London will again host a regular season match for the NFL.

This year will see the New Orleans Saints take on the San Diego Chargers on Sunday October 26th in a game which is expected to have the second largest television audience of the season.
