Trafalgar Square is used to hosting a wide range of events throughout the year and so don't be surprised if there is something happening whatever time of year you visit.

However, within the first two weeks of August you are pretty much guaranteed to catch something happening.

Previous years have seen giant moving sculptures of red giraffes and large-scale models of the Taj Mahal placed in situ in front of Nelson's Column.
