If you are after good value, budget accommodation slap-bang in the centre of London, then look no further than Piccadilly Backpackers. This place is clean, safe and secure and less than a minute from Piccadilly Circus.

As you would expect from such a central location, there aren't loads of facilities and most come at a cost. For example, rooms have lockers although you have to supply your own padlock!

Space is a premium in the City centre and square footage is put to good use here as somehow they have managed to get 700 beds into the place. This has been partially achieved by the installation of Japanese-style 'pod' beds, which are both comfy and claustrophobic!

However, with accommodation starting at only £12 per person per night it has everything you need for a short stay in London and is definitely the pick of the bunch from the central London hostels.
