Camden Market
Situated in Camden Town, just north−west of Regent's Park, Camden Market is the collective name given to several markets in close proximity in Camden Town. It is the 4th most popular visitor attraction in London and every weekend attracts around 100,000 people who rummage through the massive range of stalls, which reflect London's diverse multicultural community.
From antiques and groovy ornaments to alternative fashion, designer labels, food and electrical goods, there is something to suit all tastes and Camden's distinctive style has made the market an institution. There are daily markets running from 10:00 until 18:00, although Saturdays and Sundays see all of the individual markets open and the only day the markets are closed completely is Christmas Day.
In addition to the markets, Camden also has deep musical roots and has been referred to in a number of British hits in the past 30 years. A wealth of underground music venues and the MTV studios also make this a hive of activity for the music scene.
