How to use this guide

The London Travel Guide for Mobile has been designed to be compatible with any mobile device capable of accessing the internet. Viewing the London Travel Guide for Mobile is just like viewing any other website from your mobile except we heavily optimised these pages to be viewed from a mobile device.

You will find the pages load very quickly and the additional information such as the local area maps and photos are optional to download so to keep the amount of data transfer* to a minimum.

Telephone Links: Depending on the web browser your mobile device supports you should find that you can dial any of the telephone numbers listed within the guide by simply highlighting and/or clicking on the telephone number. There is no additional charge above your normal tarrif rates for using this feature, your phones web browser is simply telling you phone to call that number.

Photos and Maps: If you wish to view any of the photos or maps within the guide simply click on the link and your mobile devices browser will open the file for viewing.

Video: We have included links to view the same videos that are included in all other versions of the guide which may be downloaded and viewed on your mobile handset. Whilst these videos can be downloaded over a 3G service, we strongly recommend that the videos are accessed only if your phone is connected via a wireless internet connection.

* Data Transfer: Some mobile operators may charge you for accessing the internet from your mobile device. Generally, if there is an additional charge, this will be based on the amount of information you access whilst using the web hence why we have made every effort to make all our file sizes as small as possible. Since this could be a concern for some users you may wish to check with your operator if this is the case.
